Wow…It’s beautiful in and of itself.

If you’re having an evening wedding, I’d do tons of little lights (candles, cafe lights, etc).

Do you have a color scheme picked out?

We didn’t decorate our space at all 🙂 It was beautiful enough as is, and it saved us a lot of time, headache and money! I think your space is gorgeous and you could definitely get away with not doing much!

Very pretty space!! I love the rustic outdoors-iness of it, while still looking classic.  What are your colors/theme??

Wow it has so much natural decor built-in there’s not a whole lot that still needs to be done.  Consider yourself lucky!  Here’s what I’m thinking:

– Some rustic-style centerpieces, not too big or tall because the tables are small.  How about little lanterns with candles burning inside them for table lighting?

– Move the rocking chair and that whole “living room set up” out from the last picture to make way for the dance floor.

– Sashes on the chairs, but not full chair covers.

– May I plead with you not to put tulle on the railings and columns?  To me, that wouldn’t fit with the rustic setting.  Instead you could use vines, ribbon (or extra chair sashes), or wildflowers.

WOW!! That is one gorgeous space! Where is it, if I might ask?

I agree with the PPs – don’t mess too much with natural beauty!! I have a similar situation (outdoor event on the beach) and someone gave me that advice, and I’m going with it – saves time and money, and you just don’t need it. And definitely no tulle!! I think it would look cheesy/cheap in that setting!

A few ideas I would consider:

– If your event will be in the evening, the biggest issue will be lighting, so start there. You could use string lights along the porch overhang and/or posts & railings. I would also consider some paper lanterns (cheap source I found: http://www.paperlanternstore.com) hung at different heights along the outer edges of the roof over the porch. And consider lots of candles wherever you can put them. Love the idea of candles in lanterns. Here’s a source for inexpensive lanterns: http://www.dorothybellsgiftshop.com . Here are a couple of examples, just $6-$8 each (they have dozens of styles, colors and prices):

– Aside from that, I would focus effort and money on creating stunning table settings. Maybe upgrade the place settings to get something unique that fits the space. I like the idea of contrasting rustic & elegant. Burlap runners and more upscale dishes, wine glasses, etc. Something like this, maybe (You can get burlap in a color if you want to spice it up):

Or for a more casual/rustic feel with a pop of colors, I like this:

Oh, what fun to decorate such a gorgeous space! Congrats and enjoy!

I agree with everyone else, I wouldn’t. We had an outdoor venue and aside from centerpieces, I didn’t have to do a thing!

Wow love your space! I would stick with the outdoorsey idea and maybe do manzanita branches with candles or hanging on them! With some flowers in silver planters I think that would look really pretty!
