I came across the idea of a confetti popper save the date and I absolutely LOVE the idea. It’s very much Fiance and I and I think it would be a lot of fun. However, I know my aunt and probably some other guests may not appreciate the mess confetti can make. So, what do you think? Is this something you’d like to receive or would you be annoyed? Is there a way to make it less so? Should we include an actual card or no?

I’d hate the mess. I’d be preventing tiny mouths from eating the confetti the second I opened it too. It’s a cute idea (although costly to mail compared to cards), but seems really impractical and annoying to clean up. I’d also expect a circus themed wedding to follow.

As fun as it seems, I’d be so darn annoyed by the confetti.

I’d love it! I’m 57, an aunt and a 2-time mother of the bride. (I have an outgoing personality and great sense of humor, which some people don’t have). My daughter ordered glitter invitations and I’m sure they’ll get all over everything, too. I’d worry about how much they’d cost to mail and them getting squashed in the postal system.

Honestly I’d be annoyed, and I agree with the above that it screams “circus wedding.”

omg NO lol. I had a friend that used to do this in all her cards and eventually I just started opening them over the trash and tossing them right after.

I’d be annoyed to have to clean it up. Some friends put glitter in their invites once and I wanted to strangle them!

HonoraryNerd: I think they would be great fun. How long do people think it will take to clean up a few pieces of confetti? Wrap some masking tape several times around your hand sticky side out, job done.
