I like them, maybe only send them to people you know would like them and then send boring cards to everyone else! 😛

also to me it looks obvious what they were so surely you would just pop it over a table or something easier to clean up?

HonoraryNerd:  My first thought was I’d be so annoyed cleaning it all up since some confetti really sticks even though you try to sweep it all up BUT than I thought if there were some type of warning such as “open outside” realizing it would spray confetti, I’d probably be a lot happier knowing that the paper inside weren’t all over the inside of my house!

Super cute, but yeah, I probably wouldn’t want to inflict mess on people (even if minor!)

I think it’s a great idea!! =) I love it, it might make a mess, but not that big of a deal…

Also like stated, you should put a WARNING open outside!

I’d be pissed.  Confetti popper getting confetti all over my house?  No thank you.

I hate confetti and glitter in any sort of invite, card, etc.  Unless you’re providing a cleaning service to accompany the package, I think it’d just be annoying.

HonoraryNerd:  I’d be annoyed, but probably think it’s funny.  Maybe make sure the tag indicates that a mess might follow.  Please, whatever you do.  Don’t put glitter in it.

HonoraryNerd:  OMG I can’t believe the big deal everyone is making about the “mess”!!  It’s a few pieces of paper that is easily swept/vaccuumed up, not a receptacle of exploding feces HAHAHA!!  If anything, I’d be annoyed at my cat who would try to eat it!

That said, I’d still vote no for a few reasons: 1. seems a little costly for just a STD; what will the actual invitation be like?  2. Unfortulatenly, it will probably end up in the garbage.  You’re better off with a magnet or card people can hold onto and 3. I agree it screams carnival or circus theme.  Unless that is in fact your theme, it would throw me off.

Very cute idea, though.  A lot of fun!

My dog would probably eat all the pieces. Not something I would appreciate but I wouldn’t get mad over it either.

I think its a super cute idea and perhaps you could put a tag on it that says something like “Love can be messy. Best to open these outside.” or something? That way people can go outside and open them or over a piece of paper or something to catch all the confetti. I say go for it if its what represents you and your Fiance. I would worry about the postage though. They don’t look heavy but they are odd packaging and I’d be afraid of the cost to ship and them getting crushed in the mail. If you have a plan to deal with that though then I say go for it!
