Sorry for posting twice in one day… with the wedding next week it’s crunch time!
Just wanted to get some opinions on what would be the most sensible way to number (literally numbering 1,2,3, etc) our guest tables, so guests can easily navigate the room and find their tables? At first I was thinking of doing odds on one side of the dance floor and evens on the other, but it’s that last section that lines up at the back of the dance floor that has me hesitant about that.

Assuming they’ll be entering through the doors by the sign in area, I’d just number them from left to right, so that #1-7 go on the left of the dance floor and #1 is the first table on the left. People are smarter than you think sometimes, they’ll figure it out from there!

I would do it something like this. Odds and evens separated would make no sense to me! If someone is on say table 5 they would expect it to be next to tables 4 and 6, not 3 and 7.

My tables had a similar layout and the venue numbered them clockwise, beginning with the 1 o’clock position.
