Like “Reece”, but that is only because I know how to pronounce Jonathan Rhys Meyers’ name.  Without that I would probably pronounce it as “Rice”.

We just named our son Rhys! I don’t really care if people can’t pronounce it either!

It’s a Welsh name, I’m Welsh, and I immediately recognised it. Some Welsh people would pronounce it as Rheese, where you put slight emphasis on the H. That’s how I would say it, especially if I was talking fast. The letter Y is an ee sound, and of course the S is s.
