I am going with a 6, I usually can get a great look started but I need someone with some talent to give it polish for me.

Maybe a 5. Anything that I’ve done that looks half decent is a miracle. I look at pictures and think “oh, wow, that’s a beautiful living room.” So I can recognize great decorating, I just can’t apply it.

I would have to say 2, I have moved 27 times in my 29 years on this earth and have never gotten the hang of decorating. My Fiance and I bought a house last year and so far I have put up one picture….. lol I think I need professional help

haha… probably a 4. I really just don’t care all that much. I like to hang a few pictures, but painting? ugh, so much work.

An 8 or 9.  I’m pretty proud of how my apartment looks, especially as compared to when it was a bachelor pad.  It may not be big, and it may need painted, but darn it… it’s gonna look good.

@Mrs.Goguen: Oh gosh I’m the same way. I’m so proud that I managed to get two things up on the walls in the last year and a half! I give myself a 3, I would be doing more if it weren’t so dang expensive!

Since it’s my job to make things look beautiful, I would say about a 9.

@LittleSu: lol, nice to know I’m not the only one, up until I met my Fiance I could fit my entire life into 3 large plastic totes. I decorated the house for Christmas tonight and I am so amazed at how much it costs. Heaven help me when I decide to buy furniture.  😛

Meh. A 7? I am good with color palettes, but I don’t always see the “vision” for a room like the accessories. My mom on the other hand? 12. I’ve already recruited her to help with our living room.

Christmas though I have great decorating talent! I actually just love decorating for holidays. My Halloween stuff is pretty fantastic too, but I don’t think that counts. Lol

Maybe a 7.  I have a lot of ideas in my mind but sometimes have trouble executing them.

I *thought* I rocked at this stuff- I’m super artsy and love have a ton of DIY stuff in my office… but now that SO and I got a house together, I’ve put up a hand full of  decor, and just dont know what else to do. He wants things as uncluttered as possable, I’m bit into jewel tones and weard stuff (I have 3 zombie targets as my focal point in my living room lol) Everything is SO exspencive, I just keep telling him everything will fill in when we get more furnature.

I thought I was a 9, now I’m seeing I’m like a 4 🙁
