That poor girl. If that were me he’d have a lot of apologising to do. We’ve both had too much to drink in our time and acted the fool but our wedding day is not the day to get wasted.

Initial thought – I would cry. I guess this woman was frozen by shock, but I hope I’d manage to “lovingly” pull him up as soon as things got weird and motion for everyone else to join us on the dance floor. Then I’d probably ask his best friend to go sober him up.  That poor woman. I would be mortified.

Second thought – My Fiance has never done anything remotely like this and it would be SO shockingly out of character that I think I’d have to give him a pass.

I was expecting it to be much worse. He was drunk but we don’t know any of the back story. Maybe the whole wedding process had been stressful and he got drunk, maybe he was forced to take part in that degrading tradition and that was how he reacted to those circumstances or maybe the bride had been an absolute beeiotch to him early. Who knows?

Whilst being drunk is never attractive it was pretty harmless and the bride overreacted a bit in my opinion. She should of laughed it off and then discussed his behaviour with him later when he sobered up.

“Yeah, DJ, the groom’s drunk, we’re skipping that part.”  Way too many ways for that scenario to end badly.  Or if I was up for whatever stupid he did, I’d have went with it but been laughing, cause I let it happen.

Moral of the story, don’t get into a situation you know has a high chance of making you uncomfortable, especially on video.  Poor girl. 🙁
