As long as you make sure your guests are comfortable, go for it!

That sounds absolutely AMAZING.  And now I am sad I’m not having a camp wedding lol

I would probably like it!  Just give people enough notice ahead of time.

best idea ever!

It’s similar to what we’re doing with ours, and so far the response has been nothing but positive!  Even better if there’s limited cell phone reception; it’s amazing how many people just want a break from being stuffy all the time!

I don’t like camping at all.  I would probably attend for the ceremony and immediate reception, but decline to spend a weekend camping.

October in NE at a summer camp sounds ideal. Now if you asked me about July with no air conditioning, I’d probably have another response. LOL

I think that’s so cool!  I would totally want to do that but too much of my family would complain about having to haul themselves alllllll the way up to New Husband and spend their weekend there.

I agree with abbie017. Unless you were my sibling or very best friend, I would likely attend just the reception and definitely not stay overnight. Just not my thing.

Definitely keep the weather in mind. October in New Husband can go either way. It’s snowed in New Husband in October. While all the pictures seem nice with great weather and everyone is swimming, I wouldn’t expect that in October.

This is pretty amazing, and that area in New Husband is beautiful!

I love the idea but be prepared for people who won’t want to stay the entire weekend and camp.
