We had a huge number of people rsvp no, so we have quite a bit of extra money that was budgeted. We only have 132 guests total.
We didn’t orginally have a huge alchohol budget, just 2 kegs and like 10 bottles of wine with the option of buying more throughout the night if needed/wanted.
Now that we have some extra money, we’d like to take probably $500 of it to put towards more alcohol but I’m not quite sure which road to take cuz we have a couple options.
Option 1) Tell bridal party our drinks are on them (total of 13 people, some drinkers and some not) and hope the entire extra $500 gets through the night.
Option 2) Split the money between $200 towards doing a signature cocktail for all the guests at the reception and $300 for drinks outside of the beer, wine, signature cocktail for the wedding party.
Option 3) Purchase 1 more keg and 10 more bottles of wine so we have more on hand and keep it at beer and wine for everyone.
What would you do? Any other suggestions?
