So I didn’t see a post from the last day about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 yet! I know I can’t be the only so looking forward to seeing it. I have my midnight tickets in hand, and am going to a 2D showing.
I am wavering between excitement and sadness. I cannot wait to see it, and noticed the buzz is very good so far. But then I get sad that this is pretty much the last new HP anything. (Except for the ever elusive Pottermore).
Who else is super pumped??

Super pumped. I’ve got my outfit planned for the midnight showing. A shirt that says Muggle, a prefect pin, and a pair of socks – one sock will be Hufflepuff and the other Ravenclaw (they get so little love).
I definitely lean more for excitement. I think there is a lot Rowling could do with the Potter series. I would LOVE to read more about Sirius and James and Remus and Lily and Voldemort’s rise to power. So I’m hoping for that (and the elusive Pottermore).

@In the media: I’m with you on the books about the marauders would be great, I’d rather have those first than a continuation of the epilogue. Although it would be hard to heard about them hanging out with Peter when you know how evil he gets.
And have you seen this yet? Those poor Hufflepuffs: Which hogwarts house are you?

@sparkle: I’ve heard that some theatres are doing that! That’d be a great way to watch them
@SimplyChic11: Didn’t he get fiiiiine? Yum! Who would have that that little Neville would turn into such a stud??

Very excited! I wish I could stay awake for the midnight viewing, but that’s not possible, so I am going early Friday.. Can’t wait! I am bummed that it will be over though; and I wish there will be more someday, as In the media was suggesting.

@sparkle: We’re doing the same thing. Part 1 at 9:30 and part 2 at 12:20. So excited. I know I’ll be balling my eyes out. The HP series has literally changed my life. Not really the books themselves but the community surrounding it, it will definitely feel like the end of an era to me, but I guess with me just getting married it’s good timing 🙁 It better be freakin awesome, that’s all I can say.

I can’t wait! We’ve got our midnight tickets, and are sooo excited. We almost decided to wait until friday night, but decided we had to keep with tradition and see the midnight show. I will say it’s a lot harder to stay up for the show now than it used to be!! We’re not dressing up or anything, but I love to walk around and admire everyone’s getups.
