My husband hardly ever wears his, he’s a mechanic so he just leaves his at home since he can’t wear it to work in,. Honestly, he hardly ever wears his, usually only when we go out to dinner or out with friends.  My dad lost his within the first year they were married, and he didn’t wear one until 2 years ago when my mom bought him a new one, and they’ve been married for 32 years!  It really doesn’t bother me that hubs hardly ever wears his, its not like we’re any less married cuz he’s not wearing a ring. He’s debating getting one tattooed on, and I told him its totally his choice if he wants to

I just ordered my husband a new one last night… if he looses this one I might have to hurt him. Or hold out on sex, that would probably do the trick =)

One of my really good guy friends lost his wedding ring on his second day of marriage. He wore his ring into the ocean swimming with his new wife on their honeymoon and it fell off into the water. They spent a good 3 hours looking for it, but it was gone. He got a new one, and he is perpetually made fun of by everyone. His wife was a bit miffed, but she took it in stride and jokes that they have a ‘hubby’s ring replacement’ fund. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Lots of men lose them, try not to worry too much!

My dad had his wedding ring stolen years ago and never replaced it.  He went without one for decades.  Before my Junior Parents Weekend in college, my mom insisted he get a new one.  He lost it on the bus ride up ๐Ÿ™‚

If the exact ring has sentimental value, then save up until you can afford the same one! But until then, you can get him something inexpensive so at least he’ll have a ring ๐Ÿ™‚

Mu husband’s ring cost around $600 because he got one of the indestructable non scratching ones or whatever it is (he’s a marine) because of the demands of his job. I told him he was gonna be in soooooo much trouble if he loses it…and he has not once taken it off since we got married.

But with him, his ring is a bit loose, because he has a big knucle, so he had to get a bigger size to fit over the knuckle…so it isn’t tight on his finger, but it would never be able to slip off over his knuckle. He has to work it and twist it to come off over his knuckle. So I think we’re safe ๐Ÿ˜‰
