@QueenJenJen:  The Grandview in Poughkeepsie is pretty and right on the Hudson River. I think it would be in your budget and is all inclusive. Normally they have a 125 minumum but they were willing to be flexible on the number if we reached a spending minimum with some food upgrades.  Very responsive.

Also FEAST at Round Hill is similarly in house and very popular.  I know if you email them they send you a brochure right away with prices.

A good friend of mine for married at the colonial manor in old tappan. It was quite a few years ago but I know she didn’t spend a fortune and it was beautiful!

I’ve gone to some very gorgeous weddings at the grandview out in the tent! I reccommend them! Have you considered a restaurant? My budget is the same as yours, and restaurants were on our list of options – it helps keep the cost down!  Also, I would try searching for places nearby in Conn. and NJ!

@QueenJenJen:  We didn’t too far into that research, and we were mainly considering the city- but I bet there are tons of breathtaking restaurants on the Hudson or Long Island Sound! One restaurant we considered was Salt Creek Grill, but it’s in NJ.

i’m not from the area.

My mom and dad got married at Tappan Hill Mansion and I went to my FI’s friend’s wedding there in May 2013.
