Fiance and I are able to write up our ceremony, with some suggestions given by our officiant. I wanted to email her yesterday to set a time for the rehearsal, as well as provide the information for our ceremony so she could write it up and give us a copy of the draft to review. But, before I sent the email – I went back over her contract and noticed that it said something to the effect of knowing what exact time the ceremony would be, since she schedules multiple ceremonies in a day. The contract shows 3pm, and we decided to change it to 3:30 to be more accomodating and not have SO much time in between that and our social hour at 6pm.
Either way… I totally dropped the ball on checking with her first before setting that time on the invitations back in August. So, in my email I explained the change in time, but if 3pm was sitll needed if she had others scheduled shortly after… that’s fine cos it was my bad that I forgot to check in the first place. But, I was crossing my fingers that 3:30 was still good.
Luckily, she doesn’t have another wedding until 5pm that same day… so it’s cool to leave it at 3:30pm. Woo!!! Had we had to change it to 3, it’s cool… we are only having about 40 people and they could easily show up earlier. But, again… totally my fault!
