Without fail, if I ever find myself in urgent need of a service that is only offered Monday-Friday, this need arises on the weekend.
I have 3 pets. In the past, every time a pet has fallen ill or otherwise in need of a vet appointment, it has been on a Saturday night or Sunday. Emergency vets are expensive, and having to try and figure out if I have a legitimate reason to go to the emergncy vet or if it’s smarter to wait is a sucky situation.
Right now I have temporary dental resin on my two front teeth, and I’m waiting on my permanent veneers to come in next week to replace the resin. Well, it’s Saturday morning, and I chipped a damn tooth. One of my top central incisors. Big effin chunk missing. It’s Labor day weekend, my dentist’s office doesn’t open until Tuesday morning, I’ve got a whole list of plans, and every time I open my mouth to speak, I look like I belong to a fight club. RAWR!!!
Just needed to rant. This is the worst.

Things like that always happen to me on weekends, too. One time my mom’s dog at 16oz of dark chocolate when we were gone for literally 10 minutes. I don’t know how she got it, it was put UP in a cupboard!! I swear she’s a cat. She’s a 30lb dog, and it was night time so we had to take her right away to the emergency vet.
Dental issues always happen to me on friday nights. 🙁 I’m sorry about your tooth

@glitter-girl: wow, I’d be freaking out! So glad my dog doesn’t even attempt to jump a 2 ft pet gate, let alone scale furniture and poke around kitchen cupboards looking for trouble. Thanks for the sympathy, feeling sorry for myself is always more fun as a group activity.

She’s a chocolate fiend, lol! She can sniff out chocolate anywhere in the house, so we rarely have any.
On the bright side, you only have a couple more days. You’re lucky that you’re not in a lot of pain or anything like that, even if it doesn’t look the greatest.
