I like to cram mine down as far as it will go. I hate when it creeps up close to my knuckle. My husband prefers his closer to the knuckle and I’m always pushing it down too, haha!

Mine sits about mid way as well. I don’t like it all the way down, as it sits crooked then, like the photo below.

I prefer the ring to be closer to the palm, in the ‘finger gap’, but it always stucks in the middle, where the fingers are expanding

I tend to wear rings on their own closer to the palm but when I get married my wedding ring and engagement ring won’t sit flush (wedding ring is a family heirloom, just a plain gold band that’s a bit thicker than most plain bands I see on women now) so the engagement ring will be like, in the middle next to the wedding ring.  I think if I was going for an enormous engagement ring I’d mind but it isn’t a huge deal.  My mom wore this wedding ring and a similar engagement ring that was a low setting, and never minded.

I always pull the bottom of my ring towards my palm and the top slants towards my knuckle – for some reason it feels the comfiest that way!

My wedding band is on first, then engagement ring. You’re technically meant to be married on a bare finger, though I imagine it doesn’t matter most places anymore. And I often take off my e-ring, but not my wedding band, so it’s just practically easier too! They find a place just above the ‘crease’ where finger joins palm.

I have super short fingers, so while my rings sit right at the base of my finger/against my palm, there isn’t really much room for them to move up towards my knuckle, anyway.  I also plan on adding another ring, and once that’s in place, there’s REALLY not going to be any extra room – my rings will take up pretty much all the free space between the base of my finger and my first knuckle.

Love this question! I’m pretty much in the half way group.

I’m a newbie to the E-RING wearing club, but it seems to fit best closer to the base of my finger than the knuckle. To be honest, it still feels like I’m not supposed to be wearing something on that *special* finger!! lol =P

leekissesme:  All the way down. That’s where it fits best and feels most comfortable.

My engagement ring is 1/4 size too big (on purpose), so it tends to fall to the very base of my finger, especially if I’m not wearing my wedding band. At first it annoyed me, but now I’m used to it and actually prefer it there.

Funny question, I never stopped to think about this till now! Mine sits smack in the middle, I think due to me having really weird fingers that my husband makes fun of all the time. He says they’re “muscle-y fingers” and I guess he’s right, each section between each joint is very rounded on my palm side. I’m a classical pianist so I’m thinking that has a lot to do with it.

With my engagement set I wear my rose gold ring first (that’s the one my fiance gave me) and my tungsten ring on top. I think I’m going to keep it that way when I upgrade to my wedding band. It keeps the gold ring protected.
