Well, I’m eating ice cream right now…..but for healthy ideas  how about bringing things like nuts, dried fruit, granola bars.  If you have access to a fridge, you could bring cheese sticks, yogurt, veggies and hummus. Try for snacks with some protein to keep you full longer.

Protein will make you feel full longer. Also, look for low cal foods like fruits and veggies. You can either eat a small handful of chips or a giant salad with low fat dressing and consume the same number of calories

Pretzels have been my go-to snack food! I have a ziploc full in my drawer at work. One of my coworkers would whip up some guacomole and have that with some tortilla chips. Another is also pregnant and always brings in fruit (and candy haha) in the mornings. Usually oranges or tangerines. And Nerds. She freaking loves Nerds candy. I hear that rattle in the box everyday now lol.

Greek yogurt is my go-to when I’m needing something healthy that will also keep me full for a while.

I’m a low carb person because eating carbs just makes me feel even hungrier. Also, I’m not currently pregnant and have no clue whether my future pregnant self will play along with my current eating habits. That said, nuts (almonds, walnuts, macadamia nuts), chicken salad on cucumber rounds, raw veggies with homemade aioli, ginger garlic parsnip “noodles”, homemade meatballs, and hardboiled eggs all work for me.

Greek yogurt, nuts (especially almonds, for some reason), string cheese, fruit and cut up veggies with hummus = all awesome.

Trail mix (cashews, peanuts, almonds, raisins, m & m’s). Veggies and hummus. Greek yogurt. I was a sucker fur guacamole (I’d just eat it with a spoon. No chips).

Out of curiousity, did you have any aversions or morning sickness? I wrote this exact post a while ago, but now at 8w1d I don’t want to eat much at all. I’m curious and hopeful that the trend will change, and I become more like you!

I actually made a post just like this around the same time in my pregnancy! 

Now that I’m at 35 weeks and change, I feel like I can never get full but these have helped. 

Natural peanut butter utter with whole wheat crackers 

spreadable cheese (I use port wine, my fav) and crackers 

light and fit Greek yogurt 

a banana and some fiber bran cereal 

a cheese stick and some whole grain goldfish

egg whites bacon and whole wheat toast 

high fiber oatmeal (I usually get cinnamon spice)
