Hi Ladies,
This probably a really stupid question but I just dont know!
We are going to make our own huppah- id like it NOT be be freestanding, so it has to be held up.
We’ll buy some poles, and then screw some of those hook’s into them, but then how do you usually attach the fabric to the hooks? Do you have to put eyelets in the canopy or something?
Because ive seen some huppah poles with ribbons attached to them- I assume this is to attach the fabric. How does this work?

I think we’re just using plastic zip ties. The canopy is my great granparents dining room lace tablecloth and we’ll just put a zip tie (very carefully) through a hole in the lace.

My aunt put eyelets into the corners, and we used hooks.

Thanks! I was thinking about using lace, so I guess zip ties would work if you make them nice and small. Good to know that eyelets work! Will keep that in mind when choosing fabric!
