Man… don’t you hate this.. the feeling when things are out of your control!

I’m sorry that mother nature is being a b*tch on your bachelorette party.

If possible, maybe postpone your event. I am sure everyone will understand!

OMG i hate, hate, hate when things like this happen. Your looking forward to something so much and then it just falls through, to no fault of your own. Yall should go ahead and try to party on and see if your sister can come another time. I know that must suck, i have a sister and i would die if i lived a whole country away from her. Also…

WHAT ARE YALL GONNA DO WITH YOUR CARS?

@KatNYC2011:  I know its not the same, but could you have a party with your girls after your wedding?

Sorry the hurricane is messing up your plans!!  Or maybe you and the girls in town can just hunker down in the hotel with some alcohol and dvds??

Good luck! (we are hunkering down here too in NJ)

Oh man, what a bummer. It’s just rotten luck. If you guys decide not t cancel the party, you might have fun hunkering down in your hotel room together and weathering the storm. But then again, it might be better for folks to just be at home, especially since basically everything’s going to be shut down.

I’m in NYC too — also getting a bit scared!

@Stammie16 that sounds like so much fun! In the hotel with dvd’s and alcohol and the girls. sounds like some good memories would be made.

I’m sorry 🙁 All of you girls should stay together, have a sleep over. Board games, alcohol, etc. You do what you can. Just imagine if it was someone that planned her wedding for this Sunday, now that would totally suck! Remember, its all about perspective.

It will work out.  But I say you should cancel.  Tell you parents to ask for the rooms to be reserved for another time and cancel.  Want to make sure all are safe.  Stay safe up there. I’m praying for everyone!

@KatNYC2011: Glad to hear you still had a get together. Maybe your sister will be able to fly out to the UK to see you as a “make up” for missing the bachelorette party.
