Yeah I would stick with your and go to your MIL’s. Your safety is more important than being able to work Friday. Tell them you suddenly got “sick” if you have to

jessicaxo11 :  Just now from Fox 13’s FB page,

“Environmental conditions are favorable for further intensification. Possibility exists that we will have a CAT 5 on our east coast before midnight. It is also possible that the western eye wall may reach as far west as Orlando causing significant damage. Millions of people in Florida will be without power for weeks.”

Pass that along to your employer and please stay safe!

I am from Charleston, SC and stayed put for SO many storms and hurricanes.  Anything beyond category 3, though, and I get so nervous.  Category 4 or 5, I’d leave.  BE SAFE!! Praying for y’all!

im definitely concerned, but ive been through so many tropical storms and hurricanes that i cant help but be like ehh…..

i was to young to remember andrew, i do recall hurricane charley but as far as ive seen matthew is only a CAT 3, but depending on what happens between the bahamas and orlando i guess we will have to wait and see if it gains anymore strength.

jessicaxo11 :  please be careful!  I just read an update and I don’t think you’ll be working tomorrow.  I seriously can’t believe your boss! Does he really think it’s a good idea to try working during a category 4 hurricane?

jessicaxo11 :  I hope it works out like that!  I just watched the news and they were saying how bad it’s going to be?
