Most of the towns surrounding where I grew up are completely submerged. Fiance is in NJ directly across from Manhattan luckily he is on a cliff but unfortunately he just lost power.

Tree fell through my parents’ bedroom ceiling / roof. Sucks so bad for them! On top of that, they lost power. Luckily everyone is safe still.

As for the storm, in york county.. About the same as its been, should, like HappilyEverAfter land here in 2 hours, give or take.. Still have power, it blinked a few hours ago, but still on.. Headed to bed, hoping to have it still in the morning… Be safe fellow Sandy-ridden bees!

I’m in Brooklyn and the news is saying that it’s on it’s way out and water is receding (though verrry slowly). So far, we still have electricity, thought it was flickering a little bit. I know Manhattan is mad dark right now and my parents in NJ are in the dark also.
