I think it would be cool to be named after a hurricane as long as it was not a category 5. I live in Florida, so those are our “snow days”.

I wish they didn’t recyle the lists…there are enough names out there that they could name them differently each year!  I want Hurricane Peach!

spazzychica:  I am on the 2017 list! 

My dads name is on another list and it was a relatively bad hurricane that hit Florida many years ago (not bad enough for it to be retired). We gave him a news article that says, “HURRICANE WEATHERBUGSDAD COMING” for a birthday one year – it also hit on his birthday AND he was in the exact Florida city at the time it hit And we live nowhere near Florida.
