countingstars:  My ex-husband has my name tattooed on his arm. I even thought it was a bad idea that he got that.

But I have thought about getting one with my current husband. Hmmm…

Kafrine:  I’ve got “per sempre tua” he’s got “per sempre tuo” – both Italian phrases meaning forever yours, on our forearms. After we’re married next year we’ll be getting the date in roman numerals plus the coordinates of where the ceremony is happening. Probably also ring tattoos as well, mainly because I cant wear rings or jewelry at work.

We don’t have matching tattoos.  We both have 1 tattoo each that neither of us really care for lol…and we got at very young ages. We talk about getting new ones. He wants a half sleeve that includes the shoulder & chest…I think it’s hottt! And I want anything to cover up the one I have.  I think it’s cute to have matching tatoos! That man better NEVER forget your anniversary.

We both got the same tattoo but they’re also independent of each other. The state of Oregon outlined with a heart in Eugene. We met and got engaged there but also each love it for different reasons so no matter what happens we will never regret it. Mine is on the back of my neck, his is on his ribcage.

Very pretty, I like how you have a bit more feminine style to yours.

Please excuse our nails and the fact that my fingers are longer than his lol<br />

We got wedding ring tattoos and we both really like them. I love it because I like to take rings off at night and tend to get annoyed even by my engagement ring so I don’t wear if often (usually just for special occasions or if I’m dressed up). My husband also really likes not having to physically wear a ring. Much easier and you won’t lose or forget it ๐Ÿ™‚

We are getting red hibiscus tattoos on our honeymoon! It’s the state flower of Puerto Rico where we are honeymooning ๐Ÿ™‚

My Fiance and I got matching tattoos within weeks of dating each other. We were(are) pretty head over heels!  Worst case, we could have just turned them into skulls or something haha.

Anyway, it all worked out ๐Ÿ™‚

Kafrine:  we both wanted some sort of matching tattoos but we agreed no names or dates (we don’t ever plan on getting a divorce but as everyone knows shit happens) so we decided on getting anchors. the symbolism of the anchor means a lot to us personally and as a couple so it’s perfect for us. His is on his calls mine is on my hip. it was his first tattoo, my fourth.

Honestly, divorce isn’t a worry for me. DH and I have the same understanding when it comes to divorce. It’s not happening. No matter what. Marriage is something you work at, not give up on. We have also thought about getting matching tattoos. Maybe on our wedding ring fingers, for the fact that DH says that he won’t buy another ring if he looses his. He’ll just get a tattoo on his ring finger. And I told him if it came to that, I would do it with him. Side not: my sister and I are planning on eventually getting matching tattoos.

countingstars:  totally agree! My parents got matching tattoos,  a design they both liked.  It’s good because when they split up they still have tattoos they liked independent of the relationship.

I love the idea of matching tattoos but it would have no names or dates, as much as I don’t think my finace and I would ever split.
