My handsome husband came home a day early!! (he comes home 2 weekends a month) and im soooooo happy!! except for that i’m at work.. boooo.. i havnt seen him in 2 weeks and all i want to be is be hanging out with him.. i feel like the day is dragging already lol
Even tho i havnt seen him in a couple weeks i feel like i am like this anyway… i mean i know i need to go to work and so does he, its not THAT extreme but I would rather spend my free time with him than anyone else:) We enjoy eachothers company and hang out with eachothers friends.. I never feel the need for “girl time” or “girls night out” because id rather have a date night out with the hubster 😉
How about other bees? is your SO the person you would like to spend most all of your time with? Do you NEED “girls nights” or night away from your SO?

@Kandiss16: I have always been a hater of people that were like “my SO is my BEST FRIEND.”
But I have to say I am now in that boat. We literally do everything together and spend all of our non working hours together. Even if one of us is hanging with a friend its usually when the other is at work or preoccupied. (I’m kind of an introvert anyway and I guess SO is too so it works for us). And it helps that we have ALL the same interests and hobbies.
How long have you been with your hubby? Was your relationship always like that or is it because you don’t see one another as much now.

@Kandiss16: I spend most of my time with DH, and I am totally ok with that. We have a lot of fun together, so why not? Can he not be my friend as well as my husband? Rarely do I have a girl day, but when it happens I love that too.

@Kandiss16: I’m like you, I love spending time with DH. I’ve never been sick of him. It’s actually strange when I think about it. And we’ve been together FOREVER.

@Kandiss16: I spend tons of time with my husband. He is my best friend – hands down. We have occasional nights out with the girls/guys – like 2ce a year maybe? Usually we have group hang outs – like this weekend!

I find myself impatient to get home at the end of the day (he gets home from work before I do). We spend all our time together and I wouldn’t spend it with anyone else.

Without a doubt, he is my best friend. He is the person who I prefer to spend my free time with, and I have FUN doing it! I find him funny and interesting, and there’s never a dull moment. Even just sitting there in silence and watching TV, there’s noone I would rather do that with than with him.
Girls night? Hardly ever. Mainly because we both work full time and when the weekend comes we don’t really want to do anything, we just want to spend some time together, go to the movies, to dinner, to the park, and just do some lazying around.
But when I DO have girls night, it’s awesome! It’s always good to catch up with the girls. I think it’s very important to still keep in touch with the girls! Although you may not see each other for (sometimes in my case) months at a time (also due to everyone’s busy schedules).

I love my SO and I love spending time with him, he’s my best friend, but I am definitely someone who needs girl time. I make an effort to make time for my chick friends pretty often, and I don’t complain when he needs time with the guys. We are definitely number one in each other’s lives, but we are not the only people in our lives.
