- Wedding: February 2012
Last night, my husband and I went to a formal Christmas party. We were both looking pretty snazzy, and were having a fun time dancing and talking with other people. Everyone was super friendly and it was grea tnot having to be around alchohol (neither of us drink) but still have a great time.
There was another woman there, and I’d say she was probably around my age (mid 20’s). She was in a lovely gown, and was just stunningly beautiful all together. Gorgeous natural red hair, and a figure that could seriously be worshipped. On top of that, she was super nice and funny, and just a fun person to be around.
Then I noticed her staring at my husband a lot. It didn’t make me angry, she knew we were married, and wasn’t flirting or anything, just staring. For some reason (I don’t know how we got on the topic), I began pointing out some very nice features of my husband. (He tans gorgeously to a honey color, and his hair turns an even brighter shade of gold etc.). It was weird, and I guess Darling Husband thought I was just being the flatterer, and kind of blushed.
The lady kept mentioning how beautiful he is and handsome etc, and I had no problem. After the party was over, we left, and I pointed out to Darling Husband that she was very much into him, and he had been oblivious of it, I guess. Have any of you ever done this? Why did I enjoy doing that, and have you ever felt that sort of way?
