Any other bees’ SO hate football? My husband complains all the time when he has to watch football- he only likes to watch soccer. I grew up being a football fan, really only college football, but I love it! I watch our team every week and it is such a big part of me! I’m hoping when we move back to the midwest i will be able to get him to go to some games ;(
I also think it is so weird that me being the girl loves football more than him, who is the man, who is suppose to love it more than me!

My husband likes it, I hate it, and we are in an area that is obsessed with it.

Oh boy that would have been a bit of a deal breaker for me. We’re sitting here cheering and griping at the OU/TX game together and I love it!

My fiance also hates watching sports. But I can’t stand them, so we’re well matched!

@soonerpsych! I am watching it too.. with my dog though not my husband lol
Although i am assuming you are an OU fan?! I grew up going to OSU games and almost everyone in my family is an OSU fan. At least i have my brothers and family to enjoy the love of football with. We are headed to the OSU/TX game in nov and i can’t wait!

YES!! I think our FIs are brothers…. My Fiance only watches soccer, if that. He’s really into gaming so he’d rather be on his computer blowing things up.
I’m a die hard sports fan. I love baseball, football, hockey, on and on. Fiance hates, hates, hates sports. I tease him all the time and tell him that my love for sports has been wasted on a dude who could care less!!
I think out of the 5 years together I’ve managed to drag him to 2 baseball games and one hockey game.. It totally sucks and he deff complains when all I want to do is watch football all day on Sunday… Shouldn’t he want to watch it with me!?

@ tinytina “on the computer blowing things up”that is hilarious! Sounds like my dad actually… he is obsessed with computer war games! And i totally feel for you! I know i am going to have to find other people to go to games with! I couldn’t even get him to a baseball game this summer with me!
At least we will never be one of those wives that complain about their husband watching sportscenter all day everyday. (Because i will be watching it with a beer on my own lol)

haha, my guy is NOT a sports fan at all and i’m a sports nut. figures. though he will sit through a game with me with little to no complaints. he just tinkers with his computer or reads while i’m watching games .

My husband HATES watching sports!! But its okay because I am totally indifferent to it. I would pretty much rather watch anything else than sports unless it is a live baseball game!

My fiance LOVES football and baseball. Luckily I love football too and I love baseball if it’s an important game or a close one.

Darling Husband isn’t into football and I was until I met him 😉 Now, he said he would be interested in giving Lingerie football a shot though since I always thought I would be with a man really into football.

Darling Husband is so not a sports person. But he will watch the big games of the World Cup and the Olympics so he knows what everyone is talking about 🙂

Neither my husband or I watch any sports. Well, sometimes we will watch part of a really important game if our local teams are in it (superbowl, playoff baseball game, etc.), but that’s it (thank goodness, as I am not sports fan at all!!)

@Allyser: Yeah I’m an OU fan, my Mom went there and I’ve grown up around it. Plus, my husband and I met while going to school there! I think OSU stands a very good chance at beating TX when you go, so that should be fun!

My husband isn’t a football fan either. He’ll go to college games and tailgate once in awhile but doesn’t like to spend an afternoon watching a game on TV. But it works because I’m the same way. He does like to watch baseball and I used to love to watch college basketball but we’ve both become less sports watchers since getting together, though once March Madness comes around I’m glued.
