We’ve been exhausted all day from haivng company over last night and well into the morning (didn’t go to bed until 5am!) And dum dum decides that he doesn’t want to say “no” when some friends ask if it’s cool for them to drop by “whenever” tonight. Hell F-ing no I don’t want to deal with any more ocmpany in my house today. Not to mention, I would like to go to bed at a decent hour tonight. But now my bedtime is being pushed back because my husband doesn’t know how to say “no”. Plus, I know he dodn’t ask me before telling them it’s okay because he knew I’d say no. GOD F-ING DAMNIT ALL TO HELL.

My husband does stuff like that sometimes. A friend will call him late at night asking to hang out and suddenly he’ll be telling me that so and so is coming over. It drives me crazy. If he ever did something that bad I would kill him though. I like my sleep and he knows it!

Maybe overact how grumpy you are when you don’t get enough sleep so he knows to tell them to come over at a decent hour to ensure you get enough sleep so you aren’t grumpy! Also remind him it is your place too, so he should have enough respect for you to check with you that it is ok for them to come over!

Don’t worry I made my position known. I am also staying in the bedroom with my own bottle of wine and a movie because it’s not my responsibility to entertain people he invites over without my permission. I know I can’t be shitty to our friends but I can decide not to make an appearance.

If he falls asleep from exhaustion wake him up and remind him that his friends are there and he has to entertain them!
