I second getting titanium–it is very hypoallergic and very durable, much like the tungsten ring was supposed to be.  Or get palladium or platnium as both of them are also hypoallergic.

I would try stainless steel, or ceramic. We went with ceramic for my husband’s ring, and are very happy with it.

I’d suggest titanium or palladium. I’m allergic to nickel and stainless steel, it sucks!

palladium all the way, get a basic 6mm comfort fit band, this way it will be curved on both sides so he won’t sweat under it, palladium can still be surgically cut in an emergancy where as steel and titanium are too strong to be removed…plus palladium won’t tarnish, need rhodium, and is so lightweight he won’t feel it.  95% pure and no nickel or other harsh metal alloys.
