choualacreme:  I got it on clearance at a locally owned shop as it was the display model.  It was at Beckers in West Hartford, CT, but I assume that doesn’t help, sorry!

They actually had similar rings at Macy’s so maybe check there during a sale?

tachygirl:  My FI’s will be about $1800. I figure if mine were 3500 together, it’s the least I could do! I’m finding it a little hard to pay off (as he was a better saver than me) but it’ll get done!

DH’s ring was around $200 and mine was about $300 – we got them from James Allen during a cyber Monday sale! His is a plain Cobalt Chrome ring – it’s so shiny!

I figure if you can afford it, buy it for him! He should be happy with his ring, just like we want to be 🙂 My SO wants a Cartier tri-color band, so that’s what he’s going to get if it makes him happy.

Just bought my FI’s wedding band a few weeks ago. Titanium for about $500 and also got him the $100-something insurance because why not? I will pay about $45 a month to pay it off in a year, but it will most likely be taken care of in a few months.

About $30 lol (if that). We’ve been married 4 years and he only wore his band for our honeymoon. Purchased from Amazon:

Mine is going to be more than his.  He wants a simple band and nothing too elaborate or expensive.  Because he’s a chemist and works in a lab all day, he can’t wear it to work and can only wear outside of work.  He is opting for a simple band and a delicate tattoo to have under the band for when he’s at work.  He’s a romantic at heart, which is sweet.

We just went and got my fiancees ring..its a custom made silver (he hates gold) and 1 1/2 carats of black diamonds…it was his dream ring so i would have spent whatever it cost. Out the door it was 1200, which is nothing compared to what my entire set cost.

tachygirl:  Tacori men wedding bands come with a simple sports band. At least at Kassab jewelers.

His first one was just over $1k, white gold. He lost it less than a week after we got back from our honeymoon, and has been wearing the cheapest one they had at Robbins Brothers ever since (almost 2 years). I think it’s tungsten. I’m saving up cash now to get him the original as a surprise. I’ve been commandeering all the cash lying around the house for the last few months!

His ring cost me about $1,4K
It’s a white gold band with a small but nice diamond in the center 🙂 he loves it!
