Has anyone ordered hydrangeas over the internet like from weddinghydrangeas.com? I was wondering what condition they were in when they arrived. Would you recommend doing your own bouquets and centerpieces with hydrangeas or are they too difficult to work with?

I would imagine ordering hydrangeas offline would be a scary proposition! Since they are so delicate and fragile, and sensitive…it would be interesting to see if anyone has used the web site you are talking about.

my Future Sister-In-Law used http://www.growersbox.com, and the flowers were GREAT!

Hydrangeas can be difficult to work with. They tend to wilt and need special treatment if they do to revive them. As a wedding florist, even though I love them, I wouldn’t recommend them for DIY, especially if it might me hot for your wedding. Try doing a google search of how to work with them. Good luck.
