@tney13:  i had a hysteroscopy/laparoscopy last year. Treated mild endometriosis and had uterine polyp removed. It wasn’t too bad of a surgery. Just really awful shoulder pain after from the trapped air but I think that was more from the laparoscopy.

A friend of mine has Asherman’s. She’s had three surgeries. Can your doctor not give you any statistics on likelihood of the adhesions returning?

I had a hysteroscopy in October, they didnt find anything so I cant really speak to that but the surgery wasnt as bad as I was expecting. Same with PP, I had a lot of shoulder and collar bone pain from the trapped air. I was given opiods for pain and I only took one right after the morphine wore off. After that, I alternated advil and tylenol for 3-4 days and that was great for managing my pain levels. It took probably 2 months for my abdomen to feel normal again, it wasnt painful for 2 months, just uncomfortable and strange sensations.

Fingers crossed your adhesion’s haven’t returned!!
