I’d call the sender. Tell them what happened so they can get in touch with their intended recipients. And whoa – talk about waiting till the last minute.

That’s too funny – I opened my roommate’s mail once because we have the same initials and I didn’t look closely enough. :/ Whoops.

I would call the number and explain. I would be very thankful!

We had been living in our apartment for 3 years and got a wedding invite to the tennet who lived there before us. I was a little taken aback b/c clearly this person hasn’t lived there for 3 years – meaning she was being invited to a wedding to someone who didn’t reach out to her in 3 years to learn she moved.

There was no number on the invite, so I had no choice but to toss it.

As for the final question – a friend of mine got married with only 3 weeks planning time.

I would call. That happened to me with a baby shower. I was expecting a bridal shower invite in the mail and I didn’t get home until 10pm and just opened the card without even looking. Turns out it was a baby shower and the RSVP was in 2 weeks. So I just called the person in the morning and told them what happened. They were thankful.
