I was using Nair “Shower Power” on my legs while showering and I didn’t notice some on my arm until it was too late. I had about a 4 inch strip of hair completely removed off my arm! Instead of just letting it all grow back in, I panicked and proceeded to remove all of my arm hair. I’ve never done this before, but hey try everything once right?
Do any of you do this on purpose to your arms? I’m just wondering what your experience has been with it growing back in. Am I going to get stubble or does it come back softly? Is it going to be darker now? Will I be more hairy? I really can’t remember the difference after shaving my legs for the first time because it was so long ago!
All of these things have been running through my mind. It may seem silly, but my arms are visible a lot and I don’t want Darling Husband thinking I’m a weirdo with arm stubble..
Haha all I can do is laugh at myself.

Love Shower Power! =) Did you like it?
I shave my arms, and do it about every other day!
Im Scandanavian so I have naturally thick hair (which sucks!) but I’d say it’ll come in however your leg hair grows back but probably a bit softer not as corse!

@west.coast.blonde: I used to shave my arms in highschool… I don’t anymore and it didn’t come back any darker than before (I have blonde hair) that I can remember… I do remember it being stubbly for a little while as it would grow back…

I waxed my arm hair for the wedding. It was really weird when it grew back because it stood straight up!

I’ve never shaved/removed my arm hair, but I’m known to trim it when I’m bored.. with nail clippers, lol. My sister, on-the-other-hand, shaves her arms..

I shave my arms (about twice a week) it grows in pretty soft -definately softer than leg hair.
My hair is very dark so I just look too hairy if I don’t do it!

@west.coast.blonde: LOL, I did the exact same thing about a week ago!!! Fortunately, the hair growing back is not that noticeable for me, but I’m considering waxing it just once so that it grows out more natural vs. stubble…

I shave my arms every other day, because I hate body hair.
It does come back prickly, but not nearly as “sharp” as leg hair. And yes, it might be darker. My arm hair used to be all light blond and barely noticable but now it grows back brown.
Did you shave the rest off or keep using the Shower Power? That will definitely affect how it’ll grow back for sure.

@CupCakeMeg: Yes I like it 🙂 I have really fine hair so it removes it in an instant.
@jillieb: Good to know! I’m blonde and having it darker is my main concern lol.
@JoJo Bananas: I hope that doesn’t happen to me, but I bet it will… I can just imagine it poking through shirts or something haha!

@Gingersnap: I used the shower power on my whole arms. I was afraid I’d get in grown hairs if I shaved lol.

@west.coast.blonde: Then it will mostly likely come back in soft and the same colour.
I have no idea why shaving made my arm hair change colour. I used Nair for a couple years before I switched to shaving and it always grew back blonde. Once I started shaving it came back dark. Maybe a weird coincidence?
