I’ve been reading “FMIL, Future Father-In-Law, Future Sister-In-Law & FBIL” as Fucking Mother In Law, etc.
Just thought I’d share.
Also, It’s more fun when you read “future” as “fucking” try it, its hillarious.

@Brittanyg20: oh my gosh, now I’m thinking of my angry posts about Future Brother-In-Law and laughing SO hard!

@Brittanyg20: The posts make a lot more sense when you read them that way! (my problem is with Bridesmaid or Best Man which I always think stands for bowel movement at first!)

I hate the abbreviation for Save the Dates. “Well, I called to make sure she got her STD!” Can you see how that’s awkward to read?

@Brittanyg20: LOL amazing, I love it. I’m also guilty, but as reading STD as sexually transmitted disease the first couple of times. I saw a post entitled something along the lines of “Which STD do you prefer”, and I was like, um..come again? Then it clicked in lol

So how would you read: I just gave my Future Mother-In-Law & Future Sister-In-Law an STD as well my BMs stats?

I thought of one 😉 “My Bridesmaid or Best Man is a huge pain in my @ss.”
I told my Darling Husband about this and he has no control and thought I should add “stinky” but I told him to slow his roll :p

HAHAHA. Omg. In my case I think that is pretty accurate anyway… So many of our abbreviations on this site just make me think of messed up things…

@renwoman: same here about the STD. Haha. I read the headline “which STD is better?” And I always think, “um, no STD” Before realizing its save the dates.
@Brittanyg20: I will forever see tsense abbreviations the way you thought haha. They can go with a lot of the threads. 🙂
