I don’t understand, how could they cost that much?…..

Ok, perhaps real gold ink? Real pearls/gems? Rare bunny skin paper? 😛 (that last one was a joke, I love bunnies!)

I don’t know what’s worse, that someone managed to rack up 19k in invites or the person that managed to create invitations worth 19k?!?!?! I’m not even mad, I’m impressed!

edit: Oh, and I am also sad that they had to cancel their wedding, regardless of their invitation cost! 🙁

for 19k I would want them handwritten by a tiny very intelligent and rare shrew, cased in gold and delivered by a rare excotic stork. And then once they had been opened I would expect them to be able to do my dishes, vaccum and do my laundry. Thats absurd!!!If the invites cost that muchj,I dread to think how much other things cost them,

But sad that it was cancelled 🙁

@EsqBride5810: Just saw the description. They sound interesting but I’m not sure that they would have had such a high perceived value. I’m all about the perceived value.

NINETY-FIVE DOLLARS PERRRRRR INVITE?!?!?!  Geez!!! I’m not even spending that much money on food per person, for goodness sake, let alone an invite that will be THROWN AWAY or LOST!  Seriously…if I had $19,000 to spare, it would NOT be on the invites. Are they made of 24K gold or something?

On a side note, though, having to cancel a wedding for any reason is really painful, and I do feel bad for the couple, however, think of how many charities could benefit from that money.  :-((

Do they tap dance and tell you look pretty, even when you’re having an ugly cry with snot running into your mouth?

I knew you could spend tons of money on invitations.. but I never imagined it could be that much. Do you know how many invitations were ordered? I want to see those!

And yes, my heart goes out for that couple (and any other couple) who break up before their wedding. Good that they knew before it was legal, but yea… that’s always such a hard thing!

Maybe the paper was gold-leafed with real gold? Who the hell knows. They better be made out of bald eagles for $95 per invite.

Wow… and I got my feathers ruffled when I saw invites that were $600 for 100 invites, and those included the RSVP cards and such!

I LOVE paper, and my invites are one of my favorite things about my wedding, but I would never spend even HALF that much on them…. I would much rather buy the tiny giraffe
