Anyone else have that problem? I love dogs! But his family’s dog is… well, the so ugly some people think it’s cute kind… and he doesn’t have a lot of personality and isn’t terribly friendly. They are all obsessed with him.
I feel bad, but it irritates me that they spend so much time fussing over the dog rather than each other. 🙁

I dont have this problem.. but I do sometimes get irritated. My husband and I recenently adopted a puppy (my first pet ever & hes had many) and sometimes I do feel like my hubbys attention towards me is now shared between the dog and I and it gets hard sometimes!

My Fiance is not a big fan of my parent’s dog. The dog is a chihuahua–is half blind, deaf, has a limp and is gay. Fiance just thinks he’s gross and can’t see why we all fawn over the dog. The doggy also humps Fiance whenever he gets the chance….

LOL … I have the opposite problem, my boy HATES one of my dogs… she misbehaves a little, and maybe I’m a little too forgiving with her. But, our other dog is very well behaved and I think he makes up for alice a little bit… maybe if you and your Fiance got a little dog that was cuter and smarter, and nicer than that one everyone would chill out a little about the current dog?
I wouldn’t let him know that you don’t care for it, or anything like that- there are times when I resent my boy’s lack of attachment to Alice and favoritism of Moscow, you don’t want him to resent you for not loving poochie as much as everyone else.
