My ring is a 1.5 carat oval with another 0.5 carats in the halo and band, for a tcw of 2.  My actual ring size is 7.5, but I had it sized down to a 7 because it kept spinning (and now it’s a little too snug with swollen summer hands).  Sorry if the pics are huge – I even resized them smaller but they don’t seem quite small enough.

penny2015:  I LOVE your ring! It just looks so perfect for your hand and minimalistic. You’ve even convinced me I could go smaller than a 3ct (moissy) and it won’t get lost on my finger (size ranges from 7-7.5 I think)

Is the band rose gold? Do you have any other pictures of it?

lesbimarried:  pears are pretty polarizing… You either like them or you don’t! Thought I would give (or rather, show) my two cents. I’m sure whatever rings you choose will be beautiful!

lesbimarried: I love my trilogy, it’s an oval diamond is 1.52ct with .25 princess on each side tcw 2.02.  This is how I stack it everday but I’m thinking about getting a tiny 111spacer to wear on days that I don’t feel like stacking.  My e-ring is a little too big and I don’t want to downsize.

My ring has a 2 ct hearts & arrows round diamond in a cushion halo setting with 1.5 mm diamonds around the halo and band. There are also smaller diamonds around the donut and the prongs up to the halo. The ring is a size 7 for reference.

honeygirl:  Thanks so much, that’s so sweet. My band is white gold- but we have golden light globes- they also make my diamond look more yellow 😛
Our size hands make things a little harder proportionally, I wanted it to look balanced, but didn’t want to end up with a very large stone, I was happy with how it turned out. The jeweller also convinced me to go for a slightly thicker (2.5) but domed band so it would be streamlined but balanced.

Ring size is just the width so the length and type of finger makes a bit of a difference- mine are a little bit chubby. Sometimes a 2+/- can look so different on a 7+/- you really just need to go into shops and see how it looks. Based on my online research I wanted a 3ct but when I saw it in real life it wasn’t really me (or our bank acocunt lol).

I made this pinterest board when I was designing it that my jeweller worked from: http://pin.it/PqtuqMn
