I am stalking mine so much now that the wedding is getting closer and I am about to start having showers! I feel a little bad that I practically won’t be surprised by any of the gifts I receive because I’m mentally keeping track of what’s been purchased…
Oh well. 🙂

Ahhh, I am so guilty of this! I told myself I wouldn’t do it, but I went in to update a few “out of stock” items last week and noticed there were several items purchased. It is so exciting! I too worried that we over-registered and had too many high price items, but those were the first items to go, so I guess I don’t feel so bad anymore. Hoping they were a group gift… I think my shower invites are out at this point, so I should really stop the urge to look. Trying to cut back…

@GreenMTBride: I worried about that too! I even posted here a few times about registry guilt. The first things that were purchased were things I was *so* worried about having on there because they were higher priced and I already had a very old kitchenaid, but wanted a bigger model in Orange 🙂 and it got bought!
My new mantra is “guests like choices! they want to get us something!”
It hasn’t slowed me down from scoping out our registries though 😉

I definately registry stalk. It’s fun and there is no harm. It’s exciting to see what you are getting 🙂

@SouthRNComfort I totally stalk other peoples registries! When we were first putting ours together, I would check the registry of random people that I knew. I was surprised at how many cool things that I found to add to mine that way. I’m sure it’s mostly nosiness, but it was also helpful.
