Is there a way for a fairy godmother to come in and take care of everything for you so you can be drunk for the next three weeks until the day? Haha jk.

We still have more than 2 months to go, so I am not to this point yet. But I know just about every bride ends up feeling this way. I know already I can’t wait until Fiance and I are MARRIED. I know the day will be fun but I have the “let’s elope” moment daily. Just so much work and stress and irritation for what is posed to the rest of the world as the happiest, most romantic and loving time of your life.

My advice? Rant all you want if it makes you feel better! The bees like to commiserate with stressed brides. Or go into your house alone and SCREAM at the top of your lungs!!! Go punch a pillow for as long as you can or do something that’s relaxing to you.

The good news? The next three weeks will go by really fast, and then it’ll be ALL OVER! Smile

@tranquility: Ooh. Bad call on the timing for all of those things. Nice gesture, bad in reality. And when you’re stressed, who the f*ck likes camping?!

Also a nice gesture about the shower, but bad timing as well. Do they do showers much closer to the wedding in Canada? And who are the 6 people coming from out of town? Can’t your Mom or someone else help to make sure they’re comfy and settled? Everyone needs to understand there is literally no time left 3 weeks before a wedding. And any spare minute you do manage to have should be kept so you can keep a semblance of sanity.

If you have the room for the friend, I’d just do it but be like, “Alright. Fine. But no more additions or last-minute changes. I mean it. I have enough to deal with and any little thing at this point is going to send me into hysterical mode. And you don’t want to see THAT daughter, do you?”

🙁 Sorry!

@tranquility: oh man I’m sorry you’re going through this right before the wedding.

Rant all you want, scream all you want, sometimes it helps even if it’s just an online scream 😉

I do have to agree, the timing for all of those things really suck! Hang in there girl, it will pass quickly and then you’ll be married and you’ll look back on this and be glad it’s over.
