Let me tell you when we first started planning our wedding we looked into doing a DW… If we decided to go that route I would 100% be doing fireworks!!!

$500 seems pretty inexpensive for fireworks, actually. I am no expert, but my father has a firework show put on for a charity event he does every summer and they cost nearly 20,000! granted, it’s a pretty immaculate show.

so i say, if you want them, go for it!

I have ALWAYS dreamed of having fireworks at my wedding (looks like it us not going to happen for me) but I think it is so awesome and romantic and for $500 cheap! I say go for it for sure!

If you have that $500 then YES YES YES you will never ever forget it and not a lot of couples get to have the option of having fireworks – I am jealous, LOL

My dad shoots fireworks for a living so I have seen about a bazillion fireworks shows. I’ll tell you that I love them and that they are always always always a crowd pleaser! We’re not having fireworks because then some of our guests would have to work to put on the show ;-).

But $500 is a super super good deal and I say go for it!

As a guest, they really aren’t that amazing. It’s not like the big 4th of July shows that cost thousands and thousands by Zambelli Fireworks.

As a bride planning a wedding I could see how they would seem awesome.

Fire works are awesome!!!!

But please don’t yell “HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!” during them……

reminds me of the end of My Best Friend’s Wedding where the Rolls drives off to the coordinated fireworks fountains!  I love that!

I’m having a DW and also considered fireworks, but I ruled it out because it cost a lot more than $500. I say go for it! My only advice would be NOT TO TELL ANYONE if you can help it! As a guest, I would be awed as long as they were a surprise, because they’re so unexpected at a wedding… but if I knew beforehand, it might ruin the “awe factor.” 🙂

Go for it!  $500 is a steal, and it would be so much fun!

@divergirl:  HAHAHA  omg that was hysterical!
