Was thinking the same thing with pictures.

For now…that black dress you were in looks stunning. I’d try the dress that best matches that? Something with flowing shoulders ..caplet sleeves. (Chiffon perhaps) Also a waist cincher/belt.

It’s hard to tell without seeing them on you, but I think the Goldie would be really flattering for a curvier body!

Have you tried any on? It’d probably be best to go try them on and take pictures of them on you! That way we can really see what the dress will look like on your exact body type.

I love these! I think I pick Clarissa cuz I love the little bolero.  But I also like Polly, and Florencia looks really figure friendly… I vote against anything with a big bow/flower on the belly, I don’t like anything with a major detail so far from the bride’s face, it’s distracting. Post pics if you try them on! Smile good luck

I like the Clarissa best.  I think you need something more fitted in the waist.  Something like Polly is not going to be flattering (I say this because we have similar bodies).  When the dress pulls away it adds pounds, whereas dresses that are fitted in the waist and hips will be much more flattering.

Florencia, Geraldine, or JSM1103.  They all have some kind of diagonal detail along the waist which is very slimming.  It emphasizes the hourglass shape and not the wobbly parts.  Wink As a bride who had a size 16w wedding dress, I found dresses with an empire waist to be very unflattering.  I looked like I was pregenant.  They may look fab on you but I would definitly try the  style on before ordering.

Only way to know is to try them on. I put on dresses that I *knew* would look horrible on me just to make my Maid/Matron of Honor happy and OMG, they actually looked great on me. So you just never know.

So you have to order your dress without trying it on? Have you tried David’s? They will have your size. Here is the address

    David’s Bridal
    Plaza Escorial
    65 de Infanteria Avenue

    Carolina, PR 00985
Even if you don’t buy one of the dresses, you can try them on to see what looks best on you. It will help you decide which one to buy. Also, you can order some of their dresses online and send them back if you don’t like them.
