I’m digging your style, love it
this is such a cool thread. I have a hard time complimenting myself so this will be good practice.
I loved how how I felt like a looked on my wedding, I was going for a woodland fairy / romance goddess vibe and I really felt it! I had lost about 30 lbs over the last year and just felt really confident in myself which I think shows through and is beautiful!

I felt beautiful this day because this was literally the first thing in my life, or at least since I was 15 or 16 that I completely loved my body in and actually felt beautiful! I had struggled with self esteem issues for years and hated my curves, but this dress made them look incredible. My hair and makeup was exactly how I envisioned. My husband loved it. I felt like a woodland fairy/princess. <3 Two of these pictures are from my bridals and two are from the wedding day…I felt beautiful both days! Wedding dresses are magical!

I loved how I was able to pull together unique elements and how elegant I felt. Going through the wedding photos makes me feel like I’m looking backing in time to a much earlier day.

It’s was only the 3rd dress I tried on and it made my grandad cry when I walked out of the changing rooms. It was so comfortable and soft. I felt like a bride, a woman, a princess, a wife and feminine. I loved the colour and felt it was very me.

Complimenting ourselves is always a good idea! Even if it’s just inside our own heads. I can tell you feel beautiful.. you look it too! Your hair is gorgeous!
That dress is great! I love that first picture! I don’t think the dress was magical though.. I think it was you and your happiness and love and confidence!
These pictures are lovely! You look awesome!
This is awesome! I love that you found what you wanted so quickly and went with something nontraditional because it was you. It’s easier to let our beauty shine when we feel like ourselves and feel comfortable.

I was getting married in t-shirt and jeans until the saturday before my Tuesday wedding. I just wanted to have no fuss. I didn’t tell anyone until late the Friday night before, at which point my grandad said right then you better come here at 8am sharp In the morning (saturday) so we can at least get you a dress. Like I said it made my grandad cry and I was really close to him. I felt like me, smiled all day even with toothache. 😊
