So, last night my ICs arrrived, and I tried one of the pregnancy strips for funsies, expecting a negative, as I thought AF was in town. Incredibly, incredibly light, but still more that what I hear people say about implantation bleeding. I was floored by this last night:
Totally didn’t believe it. Did another one. Faint line. Decided to wait until this morning and FMU for a digital. Was totally expecting a negative. And I got this:
Holy crap. I’m concerned by the spotting I’ve had for three days, so calling the doc this morning. Hopefully it’s nothing.
Two weeks ago I was worried I wasn’t ovulating at all. Now this. Wow.

Congratulations!!!! One of my friends had some spotting around her typical AF time and thought it was AF, she was actually pregnant. It’s probably implantation bleeding. I hope you have a very healthy 9 months!!

What a great surprise!!! How will you tell your DH?

As for the spotting, is it a bright red spotting or is it darker brown? The darker brown it is, the older it is, which could be implantation bleeding. Definitely talk with your doc and ask to make an appointment for a back to back blood test to confirm your levels!

Thanks, everyone!! The spotting has been very dark brown, almost black. I’m concerned because it’s been happening over 3 days. Will definitely call doc for an appt!
This was my awesome method to tell Darling Husband: Last night, “Um, babe, can you look at this? I think I’m seeing things.” Him – “Yeah, I think that’s a line.” Neither one of us really believed it. So, I got up for work at 6am and took the digital. I woke him up with – “Hey babe – I really think we’re going to have a baby.” So sentimental. Hah.
