Bee’s I need advice from the opposite end, any Bee’s out there who are in the military and their FH is not. Seems like all of the posts come from wife’s who has their husbands deployed and in the service.
For me, Im different of course. Being a young female airman, and in a long distance relationship. It is an emotional ride but worth my love for my country, family and future family.
The questions are…
How do I plan a wedding while deployed?
How can I incorporate being in the military and him being a civilian?
Should I wear my uniform instead of a bridal dress?
And I would truely appreciate any extra advice!

@mgarcia01: The only one I can really answer is,
Do you want to wear a pretty dress?
THEN WEAR A PRETTY DRESS!!
There’s no rule saying you HAVE to wear your dress blues.
Also, are you trying to incorporate that you’re an airman and he’s a civilian? Because I think people invited to your wedding would know that about you guys..

@mgarcia01: my husband and I are both active duty, but I feel like I can answer most of your questions.
planning a wedding while deployed: Internet and if you can afford it, a wedding planner. My wedding planner was the first thing I paid for and I am so glad I sprung for it. over half of my vendors came on recommendations from my planner and most gave us discounts for being referred by her.
Incorporating your service: I think it depends on how much being an airman really means to you. For Darling Husband and I our service is not really what defines us, so besides him wearing his uniform we didn’t really include anything else.
Uniform vs dress: that is all up to you honey. I would never never never ever wear my uniform for an event like this, and Darling Husband didn’t want to but we ended up eloping quickly a week after he returned home from deployment so it was his only suit option as everything else was in storage. My best friend’s mom married her dad in her uniform, but it was also a second wedding and very small.
