My wedding is October 12 and the RSVP deadline is September 21st.
I sent them out July 25th and at first we were getting them back every day…now we havent gotten any in a week or more. Now I fear that people have probably thrown them away or misplaced them. UGH! Stress!

@peachbaby4008: You have people who get things done right away, and people who leave stuff till the last minute… I’d say you are just in the middle of the two phases! Try not to worry, they still have plenty of time.

Yeah…my deadline is today and I’m missing like 70 people who haven’t responded. I’ve got about 60 that have responded.
People suck with RSVPs

I think rsvps make people stupid lol I bet right around the 21st you’ll get the late ones flooding in!

@peachbaby4008: I send mine out July 4th week with a deadline of August 7th for our A listers. My Fiance had to track two of his friends down to RSVP by the deadline. My B listers got a deadline of September 7th and I just got the last response today.

Completely normal and to be expected, especially with a long RSVP window like you have.
There is always the initial rush of responses, then they trickle off, followed by another rush at or just after your RSVP date.

We had a flood in the beginning, a slow trickle in the middle, and then a flood the day before and after our deadline. We still had over 30 to reach out to after the deadline :/ You still have plenty of time though so hopefully you stay receiving more of them soon! I wouldn’t worry about people throwing then away though- People just seem to either send them right away or send them right around the deadline.

We got half of ours in the first two weeks, like 4 towards the end of the RSVP period, and like 16 family members/bridal party members who didn’t feel the need to RSVP.
