As a follow up to my anguished dress posts about my Lazaro dress, that is simply gorgeous, but is not fitting me right and making me feel very self-conscious…Today I went and bought a back up dress off the floor. I believe it’s a Marisa, don’t know the model number. It’s half the price of my original dress, doesn’t have any of the embroidery and embellishments that my other dress had and I was so keen on, in fact it’s super simple…But I think I feel good in it. That still needs to be altered down from a size 10 to a 4 as well but it should be much easier to size down because there’s no beading and it’s an A-line.
I still haven’t made my decision on which one I’ll end up wearing. One is a much more special dress, and one is more in my comfort zone. I’ll continue alterations on dress #1 to see if in the end that turns out to be the one, but at this point I’m leaning against dress #2. Most important of all, I feel RELIEF. I’ve been having headaches and feeling nauseaus ever since I picked up my Lazaro dress and not even wanting to think of my wedding day anymore. Now at least I have options, which makes me feel not so trapped and desparate to wear something that may not fit right. I won’t ask which ones you like more, because I don’t want to put any more doubts in my head about which one is inferior. But…I will post pics up of my new dress and hope at least some of you like it 🙂
Unfortunately the saleslady couldn’t operate my camera phone and took a video instead of photos, so I tried to take some freezeframes.

Hmm. Just looked at your other post and they are both SO gorgeous. It’s tough since they are so very different but I really don’t think you could make a wrong decision.

I LOVE this dress on you. The first dress was gorgeous and I still think it looked great on you but now that I see something else, this one is just really lovely. It seems to fit you more, the A-line is perfect!

It’s goregous. Now you have the option of walkign down the aisle in this one which you feel more comfortable in, then partying it up in the sleeker dress! I like them both a lot and glad to hear you feel better.
