@Miss Burgundy: If it were just one thank you, I’d be ok, but the type of places I’ve interviewed at I meet ~5-6 people in one day.  Try thinking of 5-6 different way to say thank you, that mentions something unique discussed at each interview!

The COO comment is promising though, so hang in there.  I’m sure they can tell who is truly happy to work there and wants to stay.

@Miss Burgundy:

Oh, ouch. I have to admit, it’s a tense time to be in defense contracting, with so many budget cuts for defense.

I’m so sorry! I was laid off last April and worked part time for a little over a year and I know how tough it can be 🙁 My thoughts are with you!

@Miss Burgundy:  I’m so sorry 🙁  From the sound of it, there may be a good chance you are staying, so try not to think toooo many steps ahead for now, ok?

Hugs!

Sorry to hear, I was laid off last December and spent the next few months searching and searching…it was hard, but I lucked out with this company in March….keep your hopes up and get as much recommendation letters as you can so that you can shine in your upcoming interviews….if you do get laid off that is…Keeping my fingers crossed you don’t.
