@karmalkween: what do your venues look like? have you tried looking at the color inspiration boards?

@karmalkween: I know what you’re going through!! My friends keep asking me what my wedding colors are and it’s so frustrating! I keep saying white, green gray and some purple but it just sounds like so much!! And then when it comes down to it, I don’t haev a lot of green in my wedding decor at all….UGH

@MrsLongcoatPeacoat: I have looked at many inspiration boards. I like lots of color combos. The most recent color scheme I decided on was red/lavender/purple
and then today I started to consider using gray tuxes (with my ivory dress), which made me consider my colors as charcoal/red/lavender/purple. But then I saw this
which I really like. So now im really confused!

@karmalkween: Okay, so let’s go with your constants. You definitely love red, and you will have white/ivory. Having the 3rd color as an accent up in the air really isn’t that bad!
I love the red with the purple flowers, and there’s no reason why you can’t use elements of the gray themed stationery, tuxes, etc.

You could totally have red, white, gray and lavender! I think it would look beautiful. 🙂

WOW that chapel is GORGEOUS!!! I’m having the hardest time finding a chapel/venue like that. Depends on what “feel” you’re going for. I wouldn’t pick colors based on the venue per saaaaay. Your space is very neutral and white so you can literally go with anything. I see July up there, so you could pick colors based off of “summery” things. Yellows, teals, purples, pinks. And then choose a good nuetral to go with it…gray, black, tan, ivory.

You know you are going to wear ivory. Next I would deicde what color you want your bridesmaids to wear. (I changed my colors when I saw them on my sister…went from teal/turquoise to a robin blue.) Then I would pick an accent.
