I would look at lots of pictures from real weddings to narrow down excatly what you want. Take all of your favorite pictures from other weddings and combine them to make your perfect wedding.

Well, the two color schemes give off two completely different feels. The red and gold is warmer and richer while the white, pink and gold is more spring-y. It just depends on how you feel about it. Do you want the richer, more “Fall” colors or the cooler, more “Spring” colors?

Here’s a couple inspiration boards I found:

Pink and gold

Red and gold

Honestly, my first instinct would be to go with the white, pink and gold. Red and gold is kind of…. Christmas-y, not really all that suited to a May wedding. BUT, if thats what you want, then do it. It’ll be beautiful either way.

Okay, I faced a similar dilemma. Ivory and pale pink? Or wine (burgundy) and ivory? Then I realized…. there’s no law saying I can’t have all of them! So, my Maid/Matron of Honor is in the pale pink while the BMs are in burgundy. PERFECT. And the floral arrangements are STUNNING with the combination of lights/darks.

Definately Gold(Champagne) and Red.  It has such a rich feel to it!  very luxurious… our wedding colors are going to be Champagne, White and Silver.  i love the sophistication it brings off!  PLUS it is timeless.

I would say go with the gold and claret. But, those are very similae to my colors, so I am biased :). This is a much more sophisticated and rich look. The pink and white would give off more of a fun and carefree vibe. Depends on which you are going for, I guess. Happy wedding planning!

Pink and champagne/gold look nice together. What color are you thinking for the men, if not black?

Just a thought but you might be able to mix the reds and pinks with gold to make it a very elegant looking spring wedding.  The dark reds and gold alone seem out of season for a spring wedding.  I love pink too, and I don’t see a reason to not combine the look of the events to fit what you like!  I actually think that adding pink tones will make that idea be just lovely!
