I had narrowed down my dress choice to three dresses, which happened to be at the same bridal shop. But when I went back today to try them on again, the shop had sold the sample of the dress I had been leaning towards. It has been two months since I tried it on, when I first started shopping, so it is not fresh in my mind at all, though I have a photo. They were still storing the sample at the shop, but since the other person had paid a deposit for it, I couldn’t try it on. And the dress is from the Casablanca Diamond Collection, which I haven’t seen in any other shop in L.A./San Diego area. I am not hopeful about calling around. I don’t know how to choose now.

Can you ask them to get another sample in for you to try on? They should be the ones calling around for you, if they want the sale.

agreed with noritake22, i don’t think there’s a drought of bridal salons in your area, so they should have contacts with a store that has it or you can contact casablanca and ask what stores carry the line in your area. if you were leaning towards it and keep thinking about it though, maybe you should just order it!

I agree with PPs. Ask the bridal shop if they can get another sample! Even if they weren’t planning on ordering another one, most shops will if you ask them. They might charge you a $50 fee, and then if you purchase it they take the fee off the price of the dress if you buy it. If you feel strongly that you might buy this dress, you might want to do this! 🙂

They are the exclusive retailer in San Diego county for Casablanca Diamond Collection, and told me bridal shops do not share samples. The manager was nice enough to say she’ll call Casablanca to see what they can do, but is very pessimistic. Crossing fingers! If anyone knows a Diamond retailer in LA, I’m all ears!
