Ignore her. Heck, my parents are in their 50s and just bought a margarita machine last year!   Register for what YOU want.

What a biotch. I wouldn’t worry about it, every shower I’ve ever been invited o people have said things about something on the registry, and yes I’ve said them too (Okay seriously? Who registers for 3, yes 3, diaper bags, all the same color and price?). I would just ignore it.

Ignore you aunt – she’s just jealous!

If I were coming to your wedding, I’d LOVE to get you a Margarita machine!  Such a fun gift!  And if she doesn’t like it, she can pick something else off your registry.

Maybe you should register for two margarita makers… You might need them ๐Ÿ˜‰  Seriously though, forgot her! Register for what YOU want not what other people think. If they are offended by something (which is just stupid) then they wont buy it and can buy somethign else. Sorry your aunt is psychotic but dont let her get you down. ๐Ÿ™‚

That’s ridiculous! Just ignore her – she’s being horrible!

My sister has a margarita machine and she LOVES it. (AND she has two kids!) I think it’s an awesome thing to register for, and Fiance and I totally plan on getting one when we have room for it!

Don’t let anyone make you feel bad about your registry. It’s YOUR wedding!

I think a madeline pan and a margarita machine totally rocks!  So fun, and It is your registry!!

Mmmm, margarita machine…I wish I had thought to register for that!  Seriously, where do people get off?  If someone doesn’t like what you registered for they don’t have to buy it for you!  simple as that!  One of my really good family friends questioned why I registered for two sets of china (one is every day, the other is fine, but they are both on the priceyish side).  I just calmly explained my reasoning.  Again, if you don’t like it don’t buy it for me.

I think your aunt is crazy.

Thanks for reminding me that I wanted to register for a medeleine pan.  ๐Ÿ™‚  I will add that to my registry right now!

She sounds horrid. She should be made to bow out of coming to your party.

People who comment on your registry should keep it to themselves. They aren’t being asked to buy you a specific gift that they dislike. How rude of her to try to cover-up for herself by passing the blame (“everybody’s thinking it, I’m the only one who says anything bc I’m so honest” – really?!).

When her daughter gets married she can try to control the registry all she wants.

I agree with the PP, your Aunt is crazy!

Also wanted to add that even when you have kids, a margerita machine will still be awesome, leave out the tequila and you have slushies! Perfect for kids parties.

What a witch! I don’t understand why she has any issues with anything you have registered for. Its what YOU and ur FH want and think you will need/use. Who is she to judge what you want and what you will use.  You should NOT change your registry one bit everyone is different. My parents have never had a coffee maker and we have 3!

Ickkk…it sounds like you already know this but it seems as though she is totally envious of your situation.  The point of registering is to give people some options that they know you will like.  No one has to buy off of the registry or buy you a margarita machine if they don’t want to.  For the record, I’d be more likely to get something fun and different like that than some muffin pans…and as far as what she said about other people being offended or whatever by your registry, I highly doubt that your madeleine pan is a topic of conversation (unless she’s bringing it up!.)  Take it with a grain of salt for your frozen margarita ๐Ÿ™‚  I hope you get those things at your shower and when you open them in front of your aunt you should gush gush gush about how excited you are to get them!

Your aunts just being a b***h how can a registry be offensive to some people (unless you register for adult toys, but thats another story LOL).  It seems to me she’s the only one that is bothered by the registry F (orget) her.
